Taylor Swift Set To Perform Live On FOX’s The X-Factor Tonight! Taylor Swift fans you better set your DVR for tonight because she will be performing LIVE tonight (Thursday, Nov. 15th) on FOX‘s The X-Factor! Swift will be singing “State of Grace” one of the tunes off of her new album, Red. The reality show kicks off at 8/7c. Additional Performers Added to 2012 ACA Line-Up! The list of performers slated to appear at the 2012 American Country Awards was announced just a couple weeks ago, and in the meantime even more country artists have been added! Luke Bryan: Why We Love This Country Singer

What Is It About Luke Bryan That Makes Us Love Him So Darn Much? Luke Bryan has been on the country music radar for awhile now, but recently he has really started to hit his stride. Besides having a whole bunch of hits, and performing at this year’s CMA Awards (twice!), Luke has just announced his first ever headlining tour, Dirt Road Diaries 2013 Tour! With all this good stuff goin’ on, it got me to thinking, why is that we love this guy so much?? Well, find my answers below!! 1. His Music. (Of Course.) Okay, fine. So maybe, “Girl you make my speakers go “BOOM BOOM”/Dancin’ on the tailgate in a full moon/That kinda thing makes a man go mhmm mhmm” are not the MOST inspired lyrics of all time, but earth shatteringly brilliant or not Bryan’s songs are just plain fun. Anytime I hear a Luke song (my favorites being “All My Friends Say“, “Rain Is A Good Thing“, and “Country Girl“… ) I end up cracking a smile by the end. Even his heartbreak tunes are optimistic! So, yeah, we love his music! 2. His Performances. I’ve seen Bryan perform live a couple times, the most recent being his CMA appearance, and honestly, he’s got what it takes. He sounds great, and he looks great…what more could you need? There is so much energy in his shows, and its really clear that he loves being on stage! That kind of performance just makes the audience’s experience all the more fun and memorable. Live shows are a deal breaker for me, and if you can cut it live, you’ve got my vote! 3. His Charm. I don’t know how socially acceptable it is to describe a grown man as adorable, but I’m kind of drawing a blank for how else to describe Luke. He’s got that sweet, southern boy voice, and it’s downright endearing! One second he’ll be working for the camera, the next he’ll burst into a semi-embarrassed grin, how cute is that? I guess basically, he’s got a down to earth southern charm that just makes him relatable. Even if he gets talked into wearing jeans and boots with rhinestones on them, you know he’s still a country boy at heart! 4. Have you seen his music videos? Maybe you have no idea what I’m talking about. If you don’t, then just watch the playlist below, and I promise, you’ll get it. Thompson Square Release Novel Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not

Thomas Square Set to Release Novel, Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not? From Brad Paisley to Sara Evans to Willie Nelson, country music artists are writing books, both fact and fiction, left and right! No doubt, country fans will be pleased to hear that their 2012 CMA Duo of the Year, Thomspon Square are joining this list with the impending release of their first novel! The book takes its title from their first hit, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?“, and its a work of fiction revolving around the love story of characters David Winters and Zoe Spark. Real life married couple, Kiefer and Shawna are getting writing help from co-author Travis Thrasher. The novel will be available June 4th, 2013 via Howard Books, an Imprint of Simon & Schuster! Soooo, now all we need is for someone to pick up the rights to the novel, make it into a movie and use Thompson Square’s original single as the theme song!! Genius, right? I’d go see that movie, for sure! Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not, Plot Synopsis. Thrown together to write the music and lyrics for their high school musical, David and Zoe have always been an unlikely pair whose differences at times drive them apart but also strengthen each other. Dating on and off throughout college, their timing never seems quite right, and they eventually go their separate ways. However, their chemistry as songwriters is undeniable, and two of their songs eventually become hits. Despite this, the dream is never an easy path to follow, and David and Zoe both find themselves at rock bottom; David at the end of his musical aspirations and Zoe in the middle of a divorce. They come together as old friends and realize the dream was right in front of them the entire time; they just didn’t know it was in each other. Check Out The Video for Thomas Rhett’s Single “Beer With Jesus”. A lot of folks have taken issue lately with some of the “flashy” elements that are becoming the norm in the country music industry, but Thomas Rhett‘s video for single “Beer With Jesus” heads in the opposite direction. It’s a simple and straightforward song, and the video mirrors this sentiment. Its pretty classic, and I really think it will appeal to most country fans! Miranda Lambert Opens Store In Tishomingo

Miranda Lambert To Open New Store, Pink Pistol, Thanksgiving Week In Tishomingo, OK! Miranda Lambert, lover of all things pink, is taking her pink obsession to the next level by opening a boutique store in Tishomingo, OK named the Pink Pistol! How cute and awesome is that??? I love everything about this news from the name of the store to the idea! According to The Boot, the store will feature a whole host of specialty items, and interested shoppers can grab a first peak at the grand opening taking place the day after Thanksgiving! “We’re having the Grand Opening the day after Thanksgiving, on Black Friday, only we’re calling it Pink Friday. We’re going to make it a tradition to turn the block pink every year at that time…It’s antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and pretty much everything you can imagine. My favorite thing in the store is a glittery pink bicycle hanging from the ceiling. I’m really 12 at heart.” -Miranda Lambert I can’t wait to see the logo, but word on the street is that its a pistol with wings and the slogan, “For the Wild at Heart” underneath! Watch Eli Young Band’s Sci Fi Themed New Video for “Say Goodnight”. Okay, this new video from Eli Young Band for single “Say Goodnight” is an odd one but a sweet one. Totally unexpected, the premise of the video involves a lovely young woman and her relationship with a robot (from outerspace?) that she runs over with a car. Besides loving country music, I’m also a huge science fiction nerd, so, I kind of love this video. You’ll have to see for yourself, though. Check it out below! Watch Dustin Lynch’s Sexy New Video for She Cranks My Tractor. Whoa, after watching this video, I need a second to process what I just witnessed. Dustin Lynch‘s new vid for single “She Cranks My Tractor” plays a little like a pin-up calendar come to life. You’ve got an impossibly thin, tall and gorgeous woman holding welding equipment while wearing only a crop top, daisy dukes and leopard print heels.
