Zac Brown Band Releases Video for ‘Keep Me In Mind’ Zac Brown Band‘s new video for “Keep Me In Mind” has an optimistic out-on-the-road-wind-in-my-hair vibe. It utilizes live concert footage in an awe inspiring outdoor amphitheater, road shots of motorcyclists doing their thing on the highway, and behind the scenes-esque footage of the band and associates. It’s a well put together compilation that, although it doesn’t match up with the story in the lyrics, does pair well with the instrumentals of the song. Craig Morgan Releases EP

Craig Morgan Releases EP as Preview for Upcoming Album. Craig Morgan will release a five song EP on November 1st as a kind of preview for fans for his upcoming album which is scheduled to release some time next year. The EP is titled “This Old Boy” after his recently released single which will be featured as one of the five tracks. Lady A Releases Complete Line-Up of 2012 Own The Night Tour Dates! Lady Antebellum has officially released the line-up for the initial six month leg of their 2012 Own The Night Tour! The tour will kick-off in Tulsa, OK on January 27th and so far, is scheduled to run through June 29th in Indianapolis, IN. For a complete list of dates, see the list below! The members of Lady A have been on a roll recently, and they are understandably excited about this tour! Charles spoke for the group, sharing how they have gotten the opportunity to be more involved with this tour, and how they are really getting to take a completely hands on approach to building an amazing show for fans! “This is the tour we’ve always dreamed of putting together. Miranda Lambert On Fire 2012 Tour

Miranda Lambert Announces 2012 On Fire Tour! Miranda Lambert has announced her 2012 Winter Headlining tour! The “On Fire” tour will kick-off on January 12th in Rockford, IL. Lambert will be joined by Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. Miranda is understandably excited about the impending tour, and luckily for fans, ready to put on a great show! “I’m looking forward to the tour and playing some new music from ‘Four The Record’ and kicking some attitude. Chris and Jerrod have great shows and we’re gonna have a lot of fun out there this year and it will be a great year with our fans. Alan Jackson Joins Hall of Fame

Alan Jackson Inducted Into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. On Sunday, October 11th, 2011, Alan Jackson was officially inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at the 41st Anniversary Dinner and Induction Ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Downtown Nashville, and Jackson was inducted by Capitol Records Nashville President and CEO and long-time friend Mike Dungan. In true down to earth form, Jackson shared some insight into his personal writing inspirations. “Denise and I packed up a U-haul and moved to Nashville and I didn’t know a publisher from a producer. I was stupid enough not to be scared. I have written songs about the ups and downs of married life, songs for the working man, a song about when my daddy died, when my first child left home – I just write whatever I feel. I never wrote a song to get a Grammy or Country Music Award. All of these things are just life and that is what country music has always been to me.” -Alan Jackson As a tribute to Jackson and his achievements, Taylor Swift and The Wrights performed some of his hits. Swift took on “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)” (which Jackson just performed live in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of September 11th). The Wrights performed a medley including “Good Time,” “Remember When,” “Chattahoochee,” “Don’t Rock The Jukebox” and “Here In The Real World.” Jackson has written or co-written 24 of his 35 #1 hits. Well done and congrats Alan Jackson!!

2011 American Country Awards

2011 American Country Awards Nominations, Dates, Voting Details and More! The 2nd Annual American Country Awards Nominations have been announced, and fan voting is open! The ACAs offer a wide variety of categories like those offered by the CMA Awards and the CMT Awards, but with other previously unrecognized categories like “Touring”. Voting will remain open until Friday, November 11th in all categories except Artist of the Year. Voting for the Artist of the Year category will remain open until, Friday, December 2nd, two before the live show airs. Fans are able to vote in each category once daily until the deadline. For a complete list of all the nominations and categories, see below. Thw 2011 ACAs will feature Kristen Chenoweth and Trace Adkins as hosts, and will air live on Monday, December 5th at 8pm ET on Fox. It will be a two-hour live awards special aired out of Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and it will feature performances and appearances from all of the current year’s chart topping artists! This track comes off of Moore’s latest album, Outlaws Like Me, and it is basically Justin’s way of spelling his standard for what makes a man manly. Blake Shelton Well Lit & Amplified 2012 Tour

Blake Shelton Gearing Up for 2012 Well Lit & Amplified Tour Kicking- Off In January! Well, for a second there we thought that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were going to be creating an album together (still holding for that!). This led some of us in the newsroom here at CMNB to think that this might also lead to a tour including both Shelton and Lambert, but that seems to be a bit of a pipe dream at the moment as well. There really isn’t too much of a reason to be that disappointed though because it looks like we will still be getting a brand new tour from Blake! Blake will be kicking off his 2012 Well Lit & Amplified Tour on January 21st in Billings, MT. The tour will run with 27 concert dates through March with its closing show at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Justin Moore and NBC’s The Voice finalist Dia Frampton (whom Blake coached on last season of The Voice) will be joining the tour as opening acts. For more details on ticket info click here.

The new all-girl country music group, Pistol Annies, (also known as Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley) has been well-received by fans and the industry (We over here at CMNB love them!). Their release of a quality debut album, Hell On Heels, has really solidified this group as a force to be reckoned with! So, what we’re all really wondering is…when will their tour be announced?
