Artist and Fan Outpouring of Support May Have Saved Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville

*Update* As of Feb 2nd, 2023 it is reported that the new owners of the building WILL BE KEEPING THE SHOP OPEN following renovations. The first floor of the building will have it’s street-facing storefront restored and remain a record shop, while the upper floors will become home to additional businesses. This follows a heartfelt outpouring of fan and artist support, that included a change.org petition with over 20,000 signatures!

The Academy of Country Music® revealed today the full list of Radio Award winners for the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards™, in advance of the main show, taking place Monday, March 7, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The two-hour show will stream live without commercial interruption on Prime Video in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, marking the first time a major awards show has livestreamed exclusively.

The Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards hosted their seventh annual ceremony at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley over the weekend. Scooter Brown took home the coveted Hadley Barrett Person of Year Award which is presented to a person from the Rocky Mountain country music scene that has done incredible things for their community.  Scooter is a combat veteran who works with several organizations that help other veterans and families and was ultimately chosen for this award for the work he does for vets and beyond.

2022 Country Radio Hall of Fame Honorees Announced

The Country Radio Broadcasters have announced the Class of 2022 Country Radio Hall of Fame honorees. This year’s list includes two off-air radio broadcasters and four on-air radio personalities. The off-air honorees are Becky Brenner and Barry Mardit. The on-air honorees are Whitney Allen, Debbie Conner, Cathy Martindale, and Rachael & Grunwald. Multi-platinum and award-winning artist Jason Aldean revealed the class during CRS Honors at CRS 2022.  The new class will be inducted during the annual Country Radio Hall of Fame Ceremony on June 30 at the Virgin Hotel.
