Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” Video Opens The Flood Gates! I woke up this morning and turned on the TV so I could hear some music while I got ready, normal routine. As I walked through the kitchen I saw a video coming on that I didn’t recognize, so I stopped… Martina McBride recently released “I’m Gonna Love You Through It“, the follow up to “Teenage Daughters“. The words to this song are powerful ones that speak of someone with cancer and the important role that their loved ones take on during the journey. There are many strong and courageous people who have to battle through the terrible disease every day, but if it weren’t for the husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, and friends to keep the faith it would be very difficult for many to go on with the fight. The video is such an emotional one, having actual survivors sharing their stories with the world. I think that it was important to feature women who are in the spot light, Robin Roberts and Sheryl Crow, as well as everyday women… “Cancer don’t discriminate or care if you’re just 38…“ “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Teenage Daughters” will be on Martina’s upcoming album, 11. As the title states, this her 11th studio album and is set to be released October 11 (sounds like a lucky number). Until then you can find both singles on iTunes. A Behind The Scenes Look at Lady A’s Upcoming Album and Tour! Lady Antebellum‘s upcoming album Own The Night will release in less than a month. The album will be available to fans on Tuesday, September 13th. Of the twelve tracks featured on this album, the group’s single “Just A Kiss” has already become a success in the industry and with fans! All three of the band members were completely involved in the process of creating this album from writing 10 out of the 12 songs on the track listing to the co-producer credit each claims. Luke Bryan Teams Up With REACH In Recent “Different By Design” Campaign. I was recently contacted about a possible interview opportunity with Luke Bryan. The extremely busy man has many projects going on with his recent touring schedule, upcoming tours, and his new album release. The deal that landed us this interview was a project he has going with REACH. The people at REACH are very passionate about what they do and we are glad to hear it! With many different designs, both style and performance, you are sure to find the exact match for you! We all know the man has one of the best smiles in country music, so to be recognized in a national campaign…well way to go Luke! Below are a few of the questions that were asked, along with his responses. How did you get hooked up with this REACH deal you have going? “REACH PRESENTED AN IDEA ABOUT THE SIMILARITIES IN HOW THE RIGHT TOOTHBRUSH IS LIKE THE RIGHT GUITAR. I RELATED TO THAT.” How is the tour with Tim McGraw going? “WE WRAPPED THE TOUR LAST WEEK AND IT WAS SUCH A BLAST.” Where do you get all your energy that you have on stage? “SCHEDULE DEMANDS ON MY CAREER ARE JUST CRAZY, BUT CRAZY IN A GOOD WAY. BUT EVERYTHING WE DO LEADS TO THAT TIME WE GET ON STAGE. IT’S WHAT I WAIT FOR, LIVE FOR. IT WAS INSTANT FEEDBACK AND I LOVED KNOWING HOW THEY ARE ENJOYING IT AS MUCH AS I HAD HOPED.” Who is someone that you look up to in the industry today? “I WOULD HAVE TO SAY TIM MCGRAW. Lauren Alaina Debut Album Release

New Details On Lauren Alaina’s Upcoming Album Release! We’ve had our eye on Lauren Alaina since her runner-up win on Season 10 of American Idol this Spring, and she has been accomplishing quite a bit! From her performances at the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Fest in Nashville in June to touring with American Idol Live to appearances on the CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, America clearly can not get enough of this girl! Believe it or not among all this activity, Lauren has released a debut music video, and has given a little more detail on her upcoming album! The album is titled Wildflower and will be released Tuesday, October 11th. Lauren looked for songs that would provide a spectrum of pace from slow to fast for her debut album in hopes that it would have a little something for everyone! “I feel like it has a flavor for everybody. It’s a mixture of all different songs, so I hope it will appeal to all different kinds of people. There are fast songs for people who like up-tempos that you can dance to, and there are also tearjerkers for people who like slower ballads. I tried to get songs that are all a little different so that we could bring a fresh feel to each and every song.” -Lauren Alaina One thing that can be said for Lauren is that despite the onslaught of publicity, attention, and a whole horde of fans, she is still staying rather level headed and remains gracious to those who helped put her in her current position. New Details on Scotty McCreery’s Debut Album Release! Ever since Scotty McCreery won the 10th season of American Idol, there have been rumors, hints and not a whole lot of details floating around about the new singer’s debut album. Well, finally, new details have been released about the upcoming album! The album is titled Clear As Day and is slated for a Tuesday, October 4th release date. While Scotty is not quite to the song-writing stage in his career, he chose a collection of songs, including his already popular single “I Love You This Big“, which he feels represents the style of country music he loves and relates to. “We’ve got songs on it from some of the best songwriters in country music. I’m so fortunate to have so many talented people contributing to my first album…It has some old country influences and elements, but it also has a contemporary feel with fun up-tempo songs…It’s a good mixture. You can hear some of the influences that I grew up with, like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard…I chose these songs because they mean a lot to me.” -Scotty McCreery I have definitely been openly skeptical of Scotty and his skill level since before his American Idol win. However, I must say I am impressed with how he has handled himself publicly in the onslaught of publicity, attention and chaos of the past few months. I am truly curious about this new album, and hope it delivers to fans what they’re looking for. The Band Perry Releases Video for All Your Life. The Band Perry, brothers Neil and Reid and sister Kimberly, have released their video for “All Your Life” off of their gold-certified album, The Band Perry. The song is a little less haunting than “If I Die Young“, but still maintains that TBP edge which seems to harness a vibe with one foot in our modern world and the other in a world of the past. The video features a storyline of vaudeville-esque characters which adds a whimsical element to an otherwise serious tone. The release of the video comes on the heels of The Band Perry’s announcement of their first tour, Purveyors of Performance which kicked off August 15th! Check out the video here! Yonder Mountain Hosts Harvest Music Festival

Bluegrass Quartet Yonder Mountain Hosts 6th Annual Harvest Music Festival. Summer is winding to a close, school is starting back up, and the worst of the heat (fingers crossed!) has passed! While one of the best things about summertime is live music and the fact that we can count on our favorite artists to be on tour, there are also plenty of music events packed into the Fall season as well (and cooler weather to boot!). One such event to look forward to is the 6th Annual Harvest Music Festival hosted this year by the bluegrass quartet Yonder Mountain String Band at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas Thursday, October 13th through Sunday, October 16th. The Harvest Music Festival is a family friendly event with a four day line-up of live music in addition to other events and access to hiking, biking, fishing, river-rafting and disc golf. Josh Kelley Joins Lady Antebellum For The Fall ‘Own The Night 2011 Tour’. Josh Kelley will be joining Lady Antebellum this fall for their Own The Night 2011 Tour! The Grammy Award winning trio and the singer/songwriter will kick things off in Knoxville, TN on November 11. I’m sure this tour will be full of excitement and fun, with a few pranks thrown in there between the brothers! “I can’t wait to get on the road with Lady Antebellum. They put on a high-energy show and I’ve gotten to see them perform a few times this summer when we’ve played at the same fairs and festivals. I know their fans like to have a good time and I’m ready to get them fired up! Rodney Atkins’ New Album

Rodney Atkins’ Fourth Studio Album Hits The Market October 4th. Rodney Atkins’ newest album, Take A Back Road, will hit stores Tuesday, October 4th. The Curb Records’ platinum selling artist has been going strong all summer, touring non-stop since the beginning of June. The second single/title track of the album, “Take A Back Road“, is the fastest rising single of his career. “I have put a lot of time into the recording of this album and am excited to say I think it is progressive and representative of who and where I am today. We are thrilled with the reaction of ‘Take A Back Road’.” -Atkins With this being his 4th studio album and having numerous hits under his belt (“Watching You“, “Cleaning This Gun“, “Farmer’s Daughter“, “These Are My People“, “If You’re Going Through Hell“, “It’s America“), I find myself wondering why he gets so little recognition. Rodney Atkins hosted and organized “Music City Gives Back” this June, is currently working with Pillsbury’s Biscuitfest, will soon be touring in the fall, and no doubt will make an appearance at the annual CMA Awards. Atkins is also getting ready for the shooting of GAC‘s original series “Origin” and will be shooting in several locations for the video of “Take A Back Road“. Sounds like a busy man!
