Taylor Swift Announces 2013 Red Tour, Get Complete Details! We all knew it was coming and couldn’t wait for the official announcement to be made! Tonight on ABC‘s All Access Nashville, Taylor Swift officially announced her 2013 Red Tour and filled fans in on the exciting details! The tour will be hit stadiums and arenas all over the U.S. for a total of 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and 3 provinces! The Red Tour will kick off on March 13th in Omaha, Nebraska and continue through September with dates in at the following stadiums: Detroit’s Ford Field, Dallas’s Cowboys Stadium, Toronto’s Rogers Centre, Winnipeg’s Investors’ Group Field, Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium, Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium and Chicago’s Soldier Field. Taylor has specifically requested that tickets on this tour be available for under $50, and tickets will go on sale November 16th. Love and Theft to Perform at Nashville New Year’s Celebration! Love and Theft are joining a multi-genre line-up of performances in Nashville, TN on December 31st to ring in the New Year! They’ll be performing alongside The Fray, Sixpence None the Richer (yay!) and Striking Matches! The event begins at 7pm and will be hosted by GAC personality Storme Warren (woohoo!). I don’t know about you, but some great live music sounds like the perfect way to bring in 2013, right? Oh yeah, and its free and open to the public!! The Marshall Tucker Band Joins the Rock Legends Cruise II Line-up. If you like country music and cruisin’, The Marshall Tucker Band has got the show for you: They’ll be part of the Rock Legends Cruise II which sets sail on January 10, 2013. Royal Caribbean International’s Liberty of the Seas will leave Fort Lauderdale for a four day cruise to Labadee, Haiti. Jamey Johnson Announces Living For a Song Tour for Fall 2012. Jamey Johnson will be hitting the road this Fall for his 2012 Living For a Song Tour. The first date will take place at the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, TN on November 8th. Johnson will wrap things up on December 31st in Montgomery, Alabama. Fans will also get to see Chris Hennessee and Wayne Mills on select dates as the join Jamey on tour. The tour gets its name from Johnson’s recently released album, Living For a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran!

Jake Owen Sets Ticket Record with CMT On Tour: The Summer Never Ends 2012. The summer definitely isn’t over for the country music fans who helped Jake Owen set a record with his current CMT On Tour Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012. With the tour just recently kicking off, Owen has already set the record for the most consecutive sold out shows for the annual CMT Tour, which has featured the likes of Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and more, since its debut eleven years! The debut dates in New York, NY and Detroit, MI completely sold out and his upcoming dates in Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN, MIlwaukee, WI and St. Louis, MO are prime for advanced sell-out! Since we’re pretty big Jake fans here at CMNB, we can’t really say we’re surprised! The tour will wraps up in Jake’s hometown of Vero Beach, FL on December 15.

Scotty McCreery To Perform Tracks from His Christmas Album on QVC Network. To promote his recently released Christmas album, Scotty McCreery will be stopping by the set of QVC on Tuesday, October 23rd at 2pm to perform a couple of his holiday tunes! Besides performing, McCreery is also offering up a special two CD set including both his albums, Christmas with Scotty McCreery and Clear As Day. The two disc set will be available October 23rd via QVC while supplies last. Sounds like a nice little gift, doesn’t it? Since his time on American Idol, Scotty has had quite the eventful career, from winning awards for new country artist from the ACMs and the ACAs to touring on Brad Paisley‘s Virtual Reality Tour 2012.

Ricky Skaggs Headlines 15th Annual Concert for Cumberland Heights at the Ryman. Ricky Skaggs and The Whites will be helping to raise funds for the John Hiatt Fund for Adolescent Treatment with special performances for the 15th Annual Concert for Cumberland Heights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on December 6th. “It’s really great to be coming back to my favorite venue, the Ryman, to do our Skaggs Family Christmas show and especially getting to partner with Cumberland Heights. Opry Inducts Darius Rucker

Grand Ole Opry Inducts Latest Member, Darius Rucker. On October 16, Darius Rucker received his Opry Member Award, becoming the newest member of the country family. His actual family joined him backstage to add his plaque to the Opry Member Gallery at the Grand Ole Opry House. Vince Gill presented the Opry Member Award by thanking Darius: “I don’t think there’s a more beloved guy in our music than you. Before you even open your mouth and sing a song you’ve written, everybody is really crazy about you. You will find this place right here to be one of the greatest homes you’ll ever have. … Thanks for wanting to be a country music singer!” Darius thanked Vince, his family, and his fans as he gratefully accepted the honor. One of his favorite singers, Keith Urban, sent a video congratulations, but then joined Darius on the stage to personally congratulate him. They were also joined by Football Hall of Famer Dan Marino. I became a fan of the soulful, distinct Rucker voice as a fan of Hootie and the Blowfish, but I fell in love with that voice the first time I heard “All I Want.” One listen to either of his albums (Learn to Live and Charleston, SC 1966), and you’ll quickly realize why he deserves this award. Jason Aldean Announces Night Train 2013 Tour will Kick Off at Fenway Park! So, it looks like we were right…even though, it wasn’t too hard to connect the dots! Jason Aldean made his big announcement via Livestream this morning, and its all about his Night Train 2013 Tour. But it was more than just a tour announcement…there was one very special detail! Aldean will be kicking off his tour at Fenway Park on July 13, 2013, and it will be the first time a country music artist will perform at the field! That’s pretty cool, right?
