Your Chance to Audition for The Voice Comes to Nashville! Auditions for Season 2 of the hit reality competition show The Voice are headed to Nashville, TN! It makes complete sense that the show would hit up Music City to search for talent for the next season as we all know Blake Shelton is one of the four (and our favorite) judges. Also, what better place is there than in a city where music is the back bone, heart, and soul to look for new talent? The Auditions will take place at the Municipal Auditorium on July 29th and 30th. However, you can’t just show up and expect to walk right in! You need to make sure that you register online first by clicking here. You will receive an Artist Audition Pass and a scheduled date and time to arrive for your audition. Participants are limited to those who are U.S. residents and 16 years or older. Glen Templeton Has Signed With Black River Entertainment! Black River Entertainment has signed their latest artist, Glen Templeton! The company will immediately take over responsibilities for the promotion, marketing, and sales efforts for Templeton and are thrilled to do so. “I am excited with the addition of Glen to our artist roster. LeAnn Rimes Headlines ACM Benefit

LeAnn Rimes To Headline ACM Lifting Lives Concert. LeAnn Rimes is set to headline ACM’s first Lifting Lives Concert. The benefit will be held at Joe’s Bar in Chicago, IL, winner of the Academy of Country Music Nightclub of the Year Award. The venue has chosen to underwrite the cost of the event so that one-hundred percent of ticket sales can go to the charitable cause. The concert is scheduled for August 15th and will start at 7:30pm. ACM Lifting Lives is the charity associated with the Academy of Country Music with the mission of improving lives through the power of music. Every year, ACM Lifting Lives provides grants to music therapy and music education programs in addition to serving members of the country music community who face unexpected medical or financial hardship. Tickets for general admission are $25 and include appetizers and an open bar. VIP tickets run for $95 and include a premiere viewing area for the concert and a VIP reception to meet and greet the artist. Crystal Bowersox will also be performing in addition to Rimes.

CMA Music Fest TV Special Dates Change

Country’s Night to Rock Postponed One Week from Original Date. The CMA Music Festival television special,CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, has been rescheduled. The 3-hour show was originally set to air on Sunday, August 7th, but is now slated for exactly one week later, Sunday, August 14th. CMA representatives indicate it is just a simple schedule change, but it is speculated that the network probably did not want to have to compete with the Teen Choice Awards which are scheduled to air live on August 7th. Either way, fans still get the show, and that’s what matters. The show will remain as previously announced including footage from this year’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville and live performances from some of country’s hottest stars. Performers include Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean collaborating with Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Josh Turner with American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, Idol runner up Lauren Alaina joining Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson with Big & Rich, Little Big Town, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, Alan Jackson performing with Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. Taylor Swift Postpones More Shows

Recent Illness Causes Taylor Swift to Delay Performances. Taylor Swift is suffering from a bout a bronchitis, and unfortunately has had to postpone three more concerts as a result. In addition to one previously rescheduled performance in Louisville, KY, Swift, under doctor’s orders, has had to delay three additional shows in Charlotte, N.C. and Atlanta, G.A. Taylor has made the scheduling changes with a heavy heart. “I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do.” -Taylor Swift Fans will have the opportunity to attend the concerts at a later date. The Louisville performance originally set for July 2 will be moved to October 11th. The Charlotte, N.C. concert will be moved from July 8th to November 16th. The Atlanta, G.A. concerts on July 9th and 10th will be reschedule for October 1st and 2nd. Taylor will resume her original tour schedule of July 14th in Montreal.

Gloriana Celebrates Military Service in Honor of 4th with Free Download. Gloriana will be celebrating the 4th of July this year by offering fans a free download of their song “Soldier Song” which is featured on the group’s upcoming album. The free download will be available to fans exclusively through Facebook, and will be accessible June 30th-July 7th. The group wishes to release the song as a tribute to service men and women and as a way to celebrate with fans. “After our trip overseas we were so inspired by the military men and women we met. We wrote Soldier Song to show our gratitude and give something back to all the service men and women out there. Miranda Lambert Joins New Husband Blake Shelton on The Voice. Miranda Lambert will be making a special guest appearance on the season finale of NBC‘s hit competition series The Voice which airs this Wednesday, June 29th at 8pm ET. She is set to perform with finalist Dia Frampton who (what a coincidence!) is tutored by Blake Shelton, one of the four coaches featured on the show. Miranda is definitely pleased to be joining her new hubby on the show! “I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show. It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team. Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. Steel Magnolia Set to Appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Real life couple Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones otherwise known as the country duo, Steel Magnolia are scheduled to make their debut television performance tonight, Monday, June 24th on ABC‘s late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! 12/11pm CST. The duo will be performing a new song off of their self-titled debut album. Steel Magnolia was originally discovered on CMT‘s Can You Duet? in 2009, and since then have furthered their initial success through single and EP releases.
