Kellie Picker Announces Release Date of Upcoming Album! Kellie Pickler has announced the title and release date of her upcoming album! 100 Proof will be available Tuesday, January 24th, 2012. Pickler co-wrote six of the eleven tracks on this album, and she is understandably excited to share the new music with fans! “I’m just happy to be making country music…I hope everyone enjoys the new music as much as I’ve enjoyed making it!”-Kellie Pickler This new album features Kellie’s recent single release, “Tough“, which, if it is any reflection of the rest of the album, definitely suggests that there is more great music to come! Gloriana Releases New Song (Kissed You) Good Night Gloriana has released a new song titled “(Kissed You) Good Night“, and it is officially available on iTunes. It’s a slow paced song about trusting your impulses in love, and it is honest and relatable. This song definitely has the makings of a hit! Aside from their track on the Footloose soundtrack, “Almost Paradise“, this is the first new music the group has released since fourth member, Cheyenne decided to pursue a solo career. Scotty McCreery Trouble With Girls Video

Scotty McCreery Releases Second Official Music Video of His Career. Scotty McCreery has released the video for the second single off of his debut album, Clear As Day. The song is titled “The Trouble With Girls“, and it is a slower paced track that will no doubt strike a chord with Scotty’s female fans. I mentioned in my review of Scotty’s album (which you can check out by clicking here), that one thing I really appreciate about the song selection is that Scotty is not trying to pretend he is anything other than a (now) 18 year old guy who can sing. This continues to be reflected in this particular music video. It takes place in what appears to be an average highscool with average kids. There is plenty of slow motion and idealized depictions of what highschool is like, but it achieves its goal in showcasing the kind of girl crazy mentality most teenage boys experience. It is a simple video which I think is also appropriate for Scotty’s music at this point. You can watch it below, and let us know what you think! I have only heard bits and pieces so far, but the little I did hear sounded pretty awesome! The Country Music Hall of Famer will be making national television appearances as well as holding some high-profile concerts where he will perform songs from the new album! October 26 he will be on NBC’s The Today Show and October 27 he will be on Fox Business Channel’s Imus In The Morning. “Threaten Me With Heaven” is the first single from Guitar Slinger and is currently climbing the charts!

Zac Brown Band Releases Video for ‘Keep Me In Mind’ Zac Brown Band‘s new video for “Keep Me In Mind” has an optimistic out-on-the-road-wind-in-my-hair vibe. It utilizes live concert footage in an awe inspiring outdoor amphitheater, road shots of motorcyclists doing their thing on the highway, and behind the scenes-esque footage of the band and associates. It’s a well put together compilation that, although it doesn’t match up with the story in the lyrics, does pair well with the instrumentals of the song.
