If nothing else, this is already setting up to be a phenomenal year for album releases as all of our favorite artists have had plenty of isolated time to work out their creative ideas. Morgan Wallen certainly lives up to this as we prepare for the release of not just one album, but a DOUBLE ALBUM set titled “Dangerous” this Friday, January 8th, 2021. Continue reading New Music From Morgan Wallen: Dangerous Double Album
First off, I want to thank Slickdeals for helping us get through such a financially difficult year by sponsoring so many of our posts (including this one) in the absence of live entertainment to promote. Not only are they helping us stay afloat, they’re actually SAVING us money as well with the number of discounts we’ve found through their site at stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, and Hobby Lobby.
There are moments in your life where all signs point to the need for a major change. This year it seems to be the pandemic that’s telling folks all over the country that they should stop renting shoeboxes in big cities and escape to a place where they can breath in the wide open spaces. Continue reading Time to Take Off From Tinsel Town!
Thanks to the wondrous time I’ve spent killing over at TikTok, I’ve managed to stumble across quite a few country artists that I may never have heard of otherwise. Now I’m even starting to get bombarded by country music fans on that platform with THEIR favorite artists and let me tell you I * AM * HERE * FOR * IT! The latest tune to flood my ForYou page is this catchy little number from up and comers Pryor & Lee called “Y’ALLSOME”. It turns out this is the pair’s debut single, and if this is how they’re starting off, I can’t wait to hear what’s next! It’s a fun party vibe track that brings some sweet smooth baritone and a hell of a ripping guitar lick in which all hits in the right places, especially if you were raised on line-dancing, late-drinkin dance hall weekends. If you want to find out more about Pryor & Lee you can check out their official site, find them on Facebook, or even stalk them on TikTok!
It’s not often I fall for a classic Americana crooner, but this new track from Jim Bachmann has got me playing it on repeat all day long. “Hate To See you Go” is a classic storytelling tune from the Arizona balladeer and he’s called in the sweet smooth vocal assist from Miss Kayla Ray to help share the lament of a love that just didn’t work out. Continue reading Listen Now: “Hate To See you Go” By Jim Bachmann, Feat. Kayla Ray

GRAMMY® Award-winner Tim McGraw is ushering in the holiday season with the release of “It Wasn’t His Child” today – listen now. McGraw first performed the Christmas standard at the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway and most recently reprised it against a stunning holiday backdrop on this year’s CMA Country Christmas, which will re-air December 21 at 10/9c on ABC. Originally written and performed by Skip Ewing, McGraw’s version was arranged and co-produced by his longtime band leader Danny Hemingson along with Steve Gibson and Byron Gallimore. “It Wasn’t His Child” has been a favorite song of McGraw’s for years. “It’s been a crazy year and we’ve worked hard to put out music, knowing how much it can mean and provide solace in difficult times,” McGraw says of the release. “This is our final chance to thank everyone for sticking with us this year and more importantly, provide some Christmas spirit to you this holiday season.” The release of “It Wasn’t His Child” caps off a 2020 for McGraw in which he released his 16th studio album Here On Earth, which marked his 4th straight decade with a #1 album on the Billboard Country Album chart. The album was his 19th worldwide #1 and his 17th U.S. #1, tying him for second most #1 albums in the U.S., just behind George Strait. His #1 GRAMMY-winning hit “Humble & Kind” and his #1 single “Highway Don’t Care” were each certified triple platinum, moving his total career RIAA certifications to 76 million.
This year has been a picnic… if by picnic you mean we’ve had to halt construction plans on a half-finished community kitchen since Covid took away the live music industry and nixed the bulk of our income, leaving us prepping cold sandwiches and pickles when we’d rather be cooking up a storm! But of course, you can’t always predict the curveballs that life is going to throw at you.
