The Oak Ridge Boys Debut New Christmas CD and Launch Tour! The Oak Ridge Boys are getting into the full swing of the holiday spirit this season by not only releasing a new Christmas album, but also launching new tour dates! The album, titled Christmas Time’s A-Coming, will release tomorrow, September 25th! An exclusive version of the album featuring two bonus tracks is already available, and can be purchased only at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. This release marks the groups sixth holiday release, but that doesn’t make it any less special to them. “The Oak Ridge Boys love Christmas music. For us, Christmas is about family, home, singing, happiness, love, kids and gifts. His trek to Aussie-land kicks off on September 26th when he’ll be performing at Sydney’s Evan Theatre. As the Grand Ole Opry prepares to celebrate the 50th Opry Anniversary of country icon Loretta Lynn with a star-packed Opry show featuring Lynn, Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, Crystal Gayle, Lee Ann Womack, and more tomorrow night, fans can celebrate Lynn’s golden achievement in the hours leading up to the show online and on the radio. The song was released to radio earlier this summer and has been a weekend anthem to many! When talking about this song, Moore relates it to his younger days with buddies, “you are holding out spending money on food so that you’ve got enough money that weekend to go to the beer store and have a good time.” He says, “I think that is the way small-town America still is everywhere.” I’d have to agree with him 100%!
