Zac Brown Band Releases Video for ‘Keep Me In Mind’ Zac Brown Band‘s new video for “Keep Me In Mind” has an optimistic out-on-the-road-wind-in-my-hair vibe. It utilizes live concert footage in an awe inspiring outdoor amphitheater, road shots of motorcyclists doing their thing on the highway, and behind the scenes-esque footage of the band and associates. It’s a well put together compilation that, although it doesn’t match up with the story in the lyrics, does pair well with the instrumentals of the song. Craig Morgan Releases EP as Preview for Upcoming Album. Craig Morgan will release a five song EP on November 1st as a kind of preview for fans for his upcoming album which is scheduled to release some time next year. The EP is titled “This Old Boy” after his recently released single which will be featured as one of the five tracks. Check Out Blake Shelton’s Rendition of the Classic Footloose! Word on the street has it that when Blake Shelton was approached to get involved with the new Footloose project, he was asked to contribute a song of his own, and Blake responded he would only participate if he could have the title track. I have to say, I sure am glad he put his foot (no pun intended) down about that! Blake’s rendition of the original Footloose song is just as firey and fun as the original, but with a little extra Shelton-esque umph added to the mix. This version definitely has a little more twang than original, and it’s definitely an improvement. See if you like Shelton’s version as much as I do. Watch the Video Here! Toby Keith Releases Video for Hilarious and Silly Song, Red Solo Cup Toby Keith has released the video for his track, “Red Solo Cup“. This extremely silly song is an ode to the always helpful party drink receptacle, THE red solo cup. The video follows Keith around at a party as he points out the positives and negatives of the red solo cup as he demonstrates his obviously close relationship and bond with this plastic cup. He even points out why the red solo cup is preferable to the less popular blue and yellow solo cups! I think my favorite part of the video might be the cameos, especially that of Princess Leia. Lauren Alaina Releases Debut Album and Choose Second Single! Lauren Alaina‘s album, Wildflower releases Tuesday, October 11th! This is the American Idol runner-up’s much anticipated first album, and the creation of it seems to have been a great experience for Lauren. “Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of releasing my own album. I can’t believe the day is here! I am excited to share it with the fans who have been supporting me throughout my journey. I hope they enjoy listening to this record as much as I did making it.” -Lauren Alaina The album features Alaina’s debut single, “Like My Mother Does” as it’s title track as well as the second single she has chosen to release, “Georgia Peaches“. The second single will impact radio on October 24th. As a Georgia native, this song has special meaning for Lauren. It seems Lauren is apt to choose music she can connect to directly since her first single illustrated her relationship with and respect for her mother, and this second one relates to her roots. This shows promise for such a young talent, in that she has already proven herself capable of choosing music that represents her as an individual instead of a marketing gimmick. Martina McBride Releases New Album and Travels the Nation Via Amtrak! Martina McBride‘s upcoming album, Eleven, drops this week! It will officially be available Tuesday, October 11th! This album features, as the title suggests, eleven brand new tracks, of which she wrote or co-wrote six including the lead single “Teenage Daughters“. A special version of the album featuring four bonus tracks will be available exclusively at Target! Stay tuned for a thorough review of Martina’s new album! To promote the release of her new album, she is kicking-off a very creative promotional tour. Martina will be taking an Amtrak train all the way across the U.S. She will begin in Los Angeles, will make 11 stops, and will conclude in New York City where she will be joining the ceremony to light the Empire State Building pink on October 14th in honor of breast cancer awareness.
