New Band LiveWire Debut EP

New Country Group LiveWire Release Debut EP. LiveWire is a newcomer on the country scene, and they are releasing their debut EP. The Joplin, Missouri based band is comprised of lead guitarist Bobby DeGonia, lead singer/acoustic guitarist Andy Eutsler, drummer Adam Hagerman, fiddle player Cory Shultz, rhythm guitarist Danny Bell and bassist Landon Rolfe, and their music is a blending of country with Southern Rock for a sound that is becoming more and more familiar to country fans. Their name might not have a country ring to it, but their music definitely does. LiveWire debuted the first single, “Tater Fed” on May 9th, and this EP features five other original songs including “Heart Burn“, “That’s What Makes You A Man“, “Drink About It“, “For the Last Time” and “Gone“. “Tater Fed” is receiving positive feedback, and it is possible this could be a band for country fans to keep an eye on. The EP is currently available through iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and other digital retailers. So, check it out and let us know what you think.

Ronnie Milsap Set To Release His New Album Country Again This July! Ronnie Milsap will release his new album, Country Again, on Tuesday July 26. The first single, “If You Don’t Want Me To (The Freeze)” will be hitting radio July 18th, but first Mr. Milsap will be taking the Grand Ole Opry stage July 16th to premier the album. This is his first country album in 5 years, but with 40 #1 hits under his belt he is sure to impress the fans! “I’ve been very fortunate to have had a lot of successful records. Now it’s time to make some more.” The Grammy award winning artist has given the world a gift by doing what he does. Dolly Parton Releases New Album Better Day. Dolly Parton announced this Spring she would be releasing a new album with an accompanying batch of global tour dates. The new album is titled Better Day and is available to fans starting today! The album features a full track listing of all new music penned by the iconic country star. She is offering up something a little more modern this time around, and seems to feel positive about the results of her hard work. I wrote all the songs for this one; plus, I think it may be a little more contemporary than what I usually do.” Dolly Parton Dolly has been out and about recently making the rounds to support her new album. Justin Moore’s Outlaws Like Me In Stores! Justin Moore has released his sophomore album, “Outlaws Like Me”. The CD has 12 songs including his latest single “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and the title track “Outlaws Like Me“. Moore had a hand in writing all but two of the songs and the Arkansas native makes sure to tell us just what he’s all about in his lyrics. “There have been thousands of miles, countless incredible shows, hundreds of Resistol cowboy hats, more than a few pair of Luchaese cowboy boots, and many new and familiar faces along the way. Those faces across the country are the reason I’m able to do this for a second time.” says Justin to his fans in his liner notes I really enjoyed “Til My Last Day“, “Beer Time“, and “Run Out Of Honky Tonks“, along with the others, the album as a whole is worth the purchase! Moore is a talented singer, as well as (in my opinion), hilarious! I definitely recommend picking up both his albums and catching him if he’s playing somewhere near you, actually see him even if you have to travel a bit!

Vince Gill Releases New Single and New Album. It has been four years since Vince Gill released new music, and later this summer he will releasing his first single off his upcoming album, Guitar Slinger. The album is due out in the Fall, and features a wide variety of songs and themes from dark and serious to more upbeat and hopeful. “I feel like the emphasis has been on the songs and the songs have gotten better. They really run the gamut of what they are about, how they feel, how they sound. It’s not an all-traditional record, it’s not an all-contemporary record; it’s all over the map, like I kind of have always been. But it doesn’t feel out of step with anything I’ve done previously.” -Vince Gill Fans can look forward to hearing the first single off the album, “Threaten Me With Heaven”, co-written by his wife, Amy Grant, Dillon O’Brian and Will Owsley, when it is released later this summer. Since the writing of the song, tragedy has given a deeper meaning toits lyrics and theme. “Since the song was recorded, my friend Will Owsley took his own life, so the song has a profound impact on me now. It’s a powerful, powerful song. Kellie Pickler Releases New Single. Kellie Pickler released her new single, “Tough” earlier this week on Monday, June 13th marking her first musical release since 2008. The single is featured on Pickler’s upcoming album of the same name which is due out Tuesday, June 21st. “Tough” is catchy with a beat which makes you want to get up and move. This is especially true if you’re a woman. In which case, this dancing may be accompanied by the occasional fist pump or shout as this song has an empowering vibe to it. One of the best lines is “there ain’t nothin’ wrong with a woman that got a little back bone.” Enough said (or sung)! All in all, the lyrics paint a picture of a strong woman who isn’t okay with just being some man’s arm candy. It never gets old, hearing country women really embrace their strength! If the rest of the album is as sassy and enjoyable as this single, then country music listeners are in for a treat!
