How To Beat The Heat

Be Smart While Braving The Summer Sun! As we all know, it has been a pretty toasty summer with temperatures reaching three digits on more than several occasions. Although many of us have the gift of complaining down pat, everyone should understand that high temperatures can be very dangerous as well as uncomfortable. I want to strongly suggest that everyone takes all the necessary precautions to stay safe! The best way to do this is to stay inside! Keep your fans or AC at a reasonable notch and drink plenty of water. I understand this can be impossible for some because of work. I have family and friends who work in this heat everyday and it scares me! I can’t tell you enough how important it is to stay hydrated! We also want to encourage you while attending music festivals to never skip a meal, cut back a bit on your alcoholic beverages and again DRINK WATER! Wear clothes that are sensible, don’t forget to apply sunscreen and enjoy the show!

Jason Aldean Take A Little Ride

Jason Aldean Has Released His First Single From His Upcoming Album. Jason Aldean has released his latest single, “Take A Little Ride.” The brand new song is the follow up to his successful “Fly Over States,” and will be on his upcoming 5th studio album due out this fall. “Everyone has been asking if the new album is going to be different from the My Kinda Party album. I tried to find the best songs that I could and also ones that fit what I do in my live show. There’s a little bit of everything, including some more traditional country stuff and some songs that might raise a few eyebrows. I thought this would be a great lead single to come with after “Fly Over States”…it’s about grabbing your girl and getting lost in the country. Sounds like a pretty good Friday night to me.” -Aldean I love to hear brand new music from an artist, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this next album that Aldean has in the works! The single is at country radio so be listening for it now!

Bellamy Brothers Become Texas Rangers

The Bellamy Brothers Are Now Honorary Texas Rangers. So kids love playing at cowboys and cops and what not, and later on some of those kids actually become sheriffs or police officers or soldiers. Other kids though, grow up to be other things like, I don’t know, country music singers. Well, that is obviously the route The Bellamy Brothers took, but it looks like they get to have it both ways now! The duo has been granted honorary membership into the Former Texas Ranger Foundation that is comprised of retired Texas Rangers. The two have been given official badges, pins and plaques! They first crossed paths with the organization at the foundation’s Silver Star Gala in 2011, and I guess they made an impression. That’s just not something the average person can claim…so kudos to them. They’ve officially fulfilled two very common childhood dreams.
