Sarah Darling Is Set To Release Her Home To Me EP. Sarah Darling is gearing up to release her Home To Me EP. Comprised of new music from her forthcoming album, the EP is produced by Dann Huff and will be available digitally on January 29. At radio now, “Home To Me” continues to catch some attention. The song has over 46,000 units purchased since the digital release on August 21. Already a multiple week #1 on CMT Pure, the music video for “Home To Me” is playing on CMT, GAC and TCN. Craig Campbell Makes Another Trip Down Under! Craig Campbell will travel to Australia this week with a full schedule during his second trip Down Under. Campbell will have several performances at the Tamworth Festival and will take part in the 41st CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia on January 26th. In celebration of his headlining performance at the Tamworth Festival, ABC Music / Universal Music Australia are releasing a deluxe edition of his previously released self-titled album, which includes bonus material as well as Campbell’s new single “Outta My Head.”

Chris Young Gets Honored By The Country Music Association. The CMNB team is so very proud of Chris Young. He will be honored on January 29th by the Country Music Association with the coveted Triple Play Award for his #1 hits “Voices,” “Tomorrow,” and “You.” The award recognizes songwriters who have written three number-one songs within a 12-month period. As well as the award, the CMA selected Young as a featured artist to help further the popularity of country music overseas. In February, Young makes his inaugural trip to the U.K. and Ireland as part of the Country Music Association’s Songwriters Series with stops in Dublin, Belfast and London. The series is set to be recorded and broadcast at a later date on BBC Radio 2. “I Can Take It From There,” is Young’s latest single from his third album NEON.

Tim McGraw Announces 2013 Two Lanes of Freedom Tour with Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft! Tim McGraw has officially announced his 2013 Two Lanes of Freedom Tour proving again that the coming year is going to be a BIG one for country music tours!! McGraw will be joined on the road by duo Love and Theft and country rocker Brantley Gilbert. The tour takes it’s name from Tim’s upcoming album which releases February 5th! The shows will kick off May 2nd at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Birmingham, AL! In the run up to the big tour, McGraw has teamed up with popular social site, Tumblr to launch an interactive campaign for Tim’s fans! 2013 ACM Awards Newcomer Nominations

2013 Academy of Country Music Awards Announce Nominations for Newcomer Categories! The Academy of Country Music announced the first round of nominations for the 2013 ACM Awards earlier this week. The categories announced so far showcase country music “newcomers,” and for the fifth consecutive year fans will be able to vote for their favorite artists in these specific categories. Voting will open on Monday, January 21st, and you can vote on ACM’s official page or at GAC.com. Individual trophies will be awarded to winners in each of the categories below, and the three winners will compete for the final New Artist of the Year Award the night of the broadcast. I’m a little surprised that Thompson Square and Lee Brice haven’t graduated out of the new artist/newcomer groups yet, but all those nominated are great artists! Get to Know Jack Ingram a Little Better with These 10 Random Questions! From the lonestar state of Texas, Jack Ingram puts a unique twist on the country music sound. In 2005 his single “Wherever You Are” was in the top 40 on the U.S Country Chart. A few other hits you may remember, “Lips Of An Angel” a brilliant Hinder remake and “Barefoot & Crazy.” In 2008 Jack won the Academy Of Country Music Award for top new male artist. What has Jack been up to lately? Well we decided to check in with him for our 10 random questions and find out. 1. How would you describe your music career using only three words? Good, getting better. 2. What is your favorite song that you’ve written? It’s a 3 way tie: the next song, the last song and whichever one is your favorite. 3. What is your favorite album of all time? Of mine?! If I could have all things come together the way they did for “ELECTRIC” every time- I wouldn’t never b**ch about any of my albums. 4. What artists do you currently listen to? I love John Fullbright. Always listen to my favorite singer/songwriters. 5. Do you have any bad habits? I drive way too fast! 6. Beer, Whiskey or Wine? Beer, whiskey and wine…but mostly Bud Light! 7. Where is your favorite vacation place? Anywhere my wife & kids wanna go! My job is pretty d**n good so I don’t sit around dreaming about an escape route! 8. Describe yourself in three words? Darius Rucker Releases “Wagon Wheel” As His New Single.” Darius Rucker has released “Wagon Wheel” as his new single. The song is the follow up to “True Believers” and will be on his upcoming album, True Believers. Now this song is not new by any means…It was started by Bob Dylan and then later finished by Old Crow Medicine show. The song has become a huge hit, with practically everyone knowing the lyrics and everyone covering it. Including Rucker. Now I love a cover, but in this case I have to say I’d prefer the original. Number 1, I feel like the song isn’t old enough and way too popular for someone to already be releasing it again. Like I said, I love a cover. If Rucker played it at show, just for fun, I’d probably go crazy singing along. I’d even think wow, he’s really cool for singing that. But I also thought it was cool each time I heard numerous different people play it sitting around the fire having a few drinks… Now this is just my opinion and we want to know what YOU think! Craig Morgan On Hotel Impossible

Craig Morgan Appears On His Second Episode Of “Hotel Impossible.” Craig Morgan will be on Travel Channel’s “Hotel Impossible” series for the second time! The show will air on Monday, January 14. In the upcoming episode, Morgan joins hotel “fixer” Anthony Melchiorri as he heads north to Glacier Bear Lodge in Yakutat, Alaska to fix a hotel dominated by commercial and sport fishermen. With fewer than 700 people in a town of 10,000 square miles, the sleepy community has some incredible features to offer those who are interested in getting closer to nature. Unfortunately, the lodge is out of date, not very accommodating and literally rotting away. Melchiorri enlists the help of Country star and expert outdoorsman Morgan to show him the finer points of big time fishing and why sportsman from all over the world would flock to this beautiful and wildlife abundant destination. Morgan joined Melchiorri on “Hotel Impossible” last summer in an episode that featured Nashville. Morgan’s new album This Ole Boy, featuring his latest single “More Trucks Than Cars” is available everywhere music is sold.
