Craig Morgan Appears On His Second Episode Of “Hotel Impossible.” Craig Morgan will be on Travel Channel’s “Hotel Impossible” series for the second time! The show will air on Monday, January 14. In the upcoming episode, Morgan joins hotel “fixer” Anthony Melchiorri as he heads north to Glacier Bear Lodge in Yakutat, Alaska to fix a hotel dominated by commercial and sport fishermen. With fewer than 700 people in a town of 10,000 square miles, the sleepy community has some incredible features to offer those who are interested in getting closer to nature. Unfortunately, the lodge is out of date, not very accommodating and literally rotting away. Melchiorri enlists the help of Country star and expert outdoorsman Morgan to show him the finer points of big time fishing and why sportsman from all over the world would flock to this beautiful and wildlife abundant destination. Morgan joined Melchiorri on “Hotel Impossible” last summer in an episode that featured Nashville. Morgan’s new album This Ole Boy, featuring his latest single “More Trucks Than Cars” is available everywhere music is sold.

The Band Perry Announce Release Date of Highly Anticipated New Album! We’ve been waiting on this news for awhile now, and The Band Perry have finally announced a release date for their highly anticipated sophmore album! The new record will drop on April 2nd, and it features the already gold certified (500, 000 + sold) single “Better Dig Two“! The debut single is honestly quite similar in theme to what we’ve heard from the sibling trio on their debut album. However, musically and vocally it is a much stronger effort, and I think bodes very well for what we can expect from the rest of the record! Taylor Swift Won Favorite Country Artist at 2013 People’s Choice Awards. Last night the 2013 People’s Choice Awards aired LIVE on CBS, and Taylor Swift walked away with the lone country awards for Favorite Country Artist. She was up against Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw. Taylor and Carrie were also nominated for Favorite Female Artist but the award went to Katy Perry. Curb Records Releases New Album Tim McGraw and Friends on January 22nd. This might be a little awkward, but Tim McGraw‘s ex-label, Curb Records, will go ahead and release a new album from the artist this month even though his already moved on. The record titled Tim McGraw & Friends is a compilation featuring duets with Colt Ford, Kenny Rogers, Jo Dee Messina, Randy Travis, Lionel Richie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and others. The album drops on January 22nd. This release has some country fans a little confused because McGraw is also releasing a brand new album this year on his new label, Big Machine Records. Titled Two Lanes of Freedom this record will release on February 5th, and features a track with both Keith Urban and Taylor Swift. James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson Among Performer for President Obama’s Inauguration Ceremony. James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson are among those who will be performing in Washington D.C. at the Capital Building on January 21st for President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony. Taylor will be singing “America the Beautiful” and Clarkson will sing “My Country ‘Tis of Thee.” Hip hop/pop singer Beyonce will be performing the National Anthem. All three of the singers were picked by the President who will be sworn in for his second term in a private ceremony the day before the big inauguration shindig.
