The Shalom Foundation’s Hymns, Hams & Jams Concert Was A Success! Last week, Martina McBride shared her time and musical talents at Nashville’s Hymns, Hams & Jams concert from Loveless Barn in support of The Shalom Foundation. The event was a huge success, raising much-needed funds in support of its medical program in Guatemala. The August 21 Hymns, Hams & Jams concert, headlined by Martina McBride, also featured a performance and live auction with legendary songwriter Bob DiPiero. GAC and Sirius XM personality Storme Warren hosted the event. Auction items included tickets to the 2012 World Series, Nashville Predators VIP packages, Peter Nappi custom footwear, a private bus party, exclusive concert tickets and backstage experiences with artists including Brad Paisley and The Band Perry and a unique eat-and-greet experience with Zac Brown Band, all bringing in donations for the Christian organization and its work in Guatemala. The Shalom Foundation recently brought 14-year old Angelica Morales to Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital to complete surgery on a complicated vascular malformation, which required more resources than were currently available at its Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City. A pediatric dental surgery team recently returned from The Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City, led by doctors and nurses from the Nashville area including Dr. George Adams, Dr. George Fiaz and Dr. Shannon Hershey. Proceeds from this month’s Hymns Hams & Jams will directly support The Shalom Foundation’s medical program.

Heidi Newfield Will Be Headlining The 15th Annual Buds-N-Suds Music Festival! Heidi Newfield will headline The 15th Annual Buds-n-Suds Music Festival Presented by The Big 98 WSIX on Wednesday, September 15 at Loser’s Bar and Grill in Nashville. The outdoor benefit concert supports the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Tennessee Chapter. Joining the outdoor party along with Newfield, includes full-band performances by The Big Rock Show, Keith Anderson, El Camino (feat. Jon Nicholson & Shannon Lawson,) Capitol recording artist Kelleigh Bannen, Jared Blake from The Voice, and Johnny T, plus Dee Jay Silver mixing his specialty mash-ups to keep the party flowing. Craig Morgan’s 6th Annual Charity Weekend Was A Huge Success! Craig Morgan is thrilled with the results of his 6th annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot. The two-day’s events and auction raised more than $73,000, bringing the four-year total to $250,000. “Year-after-year I am blown away by the support for this event from our celebrity friends and the Dickson and Middle Tennessee communities. I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area and am already looking forward to our 7th annual event next summer.” -Morgan Proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Craig Morgan Charity Fund, a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Craig Morgan’s 6th Annual Charity Weekend Is Just Days Away! Craig Morgan’s 6th annual charity weekend is right around the corner and the country music star and award-winning TV host is excited to announce the final list of music, motocross, and celebrity friends joining him for the weekend’s festivities. On Saturday, August 11, motocross stars Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins, Kevin Windham, and country star Bucky Covington will take part in an exhibition and trail ride in Vanleer, Tennessee. Later that night, country music star Darryl Worley and HLN “Morning Express” host and “Brand New Day” singer Robin Meade along with the evening’s emcee, GAC host and TV personality Nan Kelley, will take the stage in concert with Morgan to support the Craig Morgan Charity Fund. On Sunday, August 12th the popular Celebrity Sporting Clay Event will take place from the Tennessee Clay Target Complex in Nashville. This year’s event, a 12-station course, will feature an exhibition by “The Ultimate Shooter” Tim Bradley.
