George Jones Announces Final Nashville Concert

The Possum Has Announced His Final Nashville Concert Of His Career. George Jones has announced the final Nashville show as part of The Grand Tour to be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on Friday, November 22, 2013. Special guest Tanya Tucker will be on hand for the Nashville concert amongst other friends of The Possum, yet to be announced. “The Grand Tour will have surprises throughout the shows – you never know who may show up! The Possum has lots of friends so it is going to be the most exciting thing to see who shows up during the final show. You should come too – and we can be surprised together!” said Jones. George Jones, often referred to as the “the greatest living country singer” will mark the end of an era with 2013’s farewell tour titled “The Grand Tour“. The tour is expected to make approximately 60 stops next year. “I Don’t Need Your Rockin’ Chair“, “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes“, “White Lightning” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today” will surely be part of each night’s set list, along with plenty of guests and surprises. Tickets for the Nashville show go on-sale Friday, November 16th at 10am at all Ticketmaster locations. Jake Owen Sells Out Two Texas Shows! Jake Owen is unstoppable right now, and Texas fans are definitely showing their love. Jake performed to two sold out shows in San Antonio and Fort Worth. But these aren’t Jake’s only sold-out shows. He broke the CMT On Tour record for most consecutive sold-out shows! Team Kenny took to Facebook and twitter this morning with a single line that got the whole internet abuzz. All it said was simply “Tour announcement right now at http://noshoesradio.com/.” Of course I zipped right over to a site that was already crawling from the overload but had NO information on it! Then I started listening… On the embedded No Shoes Radio, Eli Young Band‘s “Crazy Girl” was just finishing up and the DJ breaks in and announces that you can see EYB live as they join Kenny Chesney on the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour!!! Kellie Pickler Flips On The Pink Lights At The Opry. The Grand Ole Opry joined Women Rock For The Cure in the fight against breast cancer tonight with the Opry’s fourth annual “Opry Goes Pink” show. Kellie Pickler, who recently shaved her own head in support of her childhood friend battling cancer, flipped the switch on the Opry’s barn backdrop, turning it pink for the night. Tonight’s show also included performances by Sarah Darling, Jimmy Dickens, Kristen Kelly, The Farm, Mindy Smith and others as well as activities recognizing breast cancer survivors and the continuing fight against the disease.
