Go Behind the Scenes with Scotty McCreery On Set of I Love You This Big Video! In the midst of the American Idol Live tour this summer, Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery took time out for another brand new experience, filming his first ever music video for his first ever single, “I Love You This Big“. The video released earlier this month, and was filmed in a park in Los Angeles. McCreery though swears when you see the video you’d think it was shot somewhere in the Carolinas. In a behind the scenes look at the filming of the video, fans get to see what it was like for McCreery to experience making a music video for the first time. Also, Scotty gives fans insight into the meaning behind not only the lyrics in the song, but the story in the video. See the behind the scenes footage now!

Martina McBride Covers Love Song

Martina McBride Shares Her Rendition of One of Her Personal Favorites. In a recently taped performance for CMT Unplugged, Martina McBride covered Sara Bareilles‘ “Love Song“. McBride claims that the song is one of her favorites, and it is clear through the performance that she truly has a connection to this song. Despite not changing any of the instrumentals (i.e. there were no fiddles or banjos added), Martina really makes this song her own, and packs it full of emotion. I think she definitely does the song, which was Bareilles’ first Number 1 single, plenty of justice. Check out the video here and weigh in on what you think of the song and Martina’s performance! Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert made a surprise announcement just moments ago via Neal McCoy’s youtube account confirming that they are indeed making an album together! I’m so excited about this that typing is a challenge, so I’m just gonna share the video right here! Stay tuned for more details as they unfold! Sara Evans Offers 3 Versions of of New Video for Single My Heart Can’t Tell You No. Sara Evans has been experiencing huge success since her return to the country music scene following a six year hiatus. She returned with the release of her album Stronger which has generated significant buzz with the industry and her fans alike. The lead single off the album “A Little Bit Stronger” in particular has helped catapult Sara back into the spotlight with ease. Her most recent single My Heart Can’t Tell You No, a cover of the 1980’s version originally performed by Rod Stewart, is as filled with emotion and poignancy as A Little Bit Stronger. Evans has made this song her own though by creating a video with 3 alternate endings which premiered through 3 separate internet outlets on August 22nd. The video portrays a woman who is in a relationship with a man who is already married to another woman. Throughout the video it is clear this woman is trying to separate herself from this man, but it is proving to be a difficult and painful process. Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” Video Opens The Flood Gates! I woke up this morning and turned on the TV so I could hear some music while I got ready, normal routine. As I walked through the kitchen I saw a video coming on that I didn’t recognize, so I stopped… Martina McBride recently released “I’m Gonna Love You Through It“, the follow up to “Teenage Daughters“. The words to this song are powerful ones that speak of someone with cancer and the important role that their loved ones take on during the journey. There are many strong and courageous people who have to battle through the terrible disease every day, but if it weren’t for the husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, and friends to keep the faith it would be very difficult for many to go on with the fight. The video is such an emotional one, having actual survivors sharing their stories with the world. I think that it was important to feature women who are in the spot light, Robin Roberts and Sheryl Crow, as well as everyday women… “Cancer don’t discriminate or care if you’re just 38…“ “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Teenage Daughters” will be on Martina’s upcoming album, 11. New Details On Lauren Alaina’s Upcoming Album Release! We’ve had our eye on Lauren Alaina since her runner-up win on Season 10 of American Idol this Spring, and she has been accomplishing quite a bit! From her performances at the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Fest in Nashville in June to touring with American Idol Live to appearances on the CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, America clearly can not get enough of this girl! Believe it or not among all this activity, Lauren has released a debut music video, and has given a little more detail on her upcoming album! The album is titled Wildflower and will be released Tuesday, October 11th. Lauren looked for songs that would provide a spectrum of pace from slow to fast for her debut album in hopes that it would have a little something for everyone! “I feel like it has a flavor for everybody. It’s a mixture of all different songs, so I hope it will appeal to all different kinds of people. There are fast songs for people who like up-tempos that you can dance to, and there are also tearjerkers for people who like slower ballads. I tried to get songs that are all a little different so that we could bring a fresh feel to each and every song.” -Lauren Alaina One thing that can be said for Lauren is that despite the onslaught of publicity, attention, and a whole horde of fans, she is still staying rather level headed and remains gracious to those who helped put her in her current position. New Details on Scotty McCreery’s Debut Album Release! Ever since Scotty McCreery won the 10th season of American Idol, there have been rumors, hints and not a whole lot of details floating around about the new singer’s debut album. Well, finally, new details have been released about the upcoming album! The album is titled Clear As Day and is slated for a Tuesday, October 4th release date. While Scotty is not quite to the song-writing stage in his career, he chose a collection of songs, including his already popular single “I Love You This Big“, which he feels represents the style of country music he loves and relates to. “We’ve got songs on it from some of the best songwriters in country music. I’m so fortunate to have so many talented people contributing to my first album…It has some old country influences and elements, but it also has a contemporary feel with fun up-tempo songs…It’s a good mixture. You can hear some of the influences that I grew up with, like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty and Merle Haggard…I chose these songs because they mean a lot to me.” -Scotty McCreery I have definitely been openly skeptical of Scotty and his skill level since before his American Idol win. However, I must say I am impressed with how he has handled himself publicly in the onslaught of publicity, attention and chaos of the past few months. I am truly curious about this new album, and hope it delivers to fans what they’re looking for. The Band Perry Releases Video for All Your Life. The Band Perry, brothers Neil and Reid and sister Kimberly, have released their video for “All Your Life” off of their gold-certified album, The Band Perry. The song is a little less haunting than “If I Die Young“, but still maintains that TBP edge which seems to harness a vibe with one foot in our modern world and the other in a world of the past. The video features a storyline of vaudeville-esque characters which adds a whimsical element to an otherwise serious tone. The release of the video comes on the heels of The Band Perry’s announcement of their first tour, Purveyors of Performance which kicked off August 15th! Check out the video here!
