I hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve and that today didn’t find you regretting that last drink. 😉 I am beyond excited to start this year and continue to give country fans all the news of their favorite artists! My goal for 2013 is more interviews! I really hope I can achieve that and share them with all of y’all! Be looking for the CMNB team at all the shows and festivals you attend this year. The Dixie Chicks Rejoin Country, Headline 2013 Craven Country Jamboree In Canada. Looks like the country scene is (finally) ready to welcome back The Dixie Chicks into the country music fold. The talented and dynamic trio will be headlining the upcoming 2013 Craven Country Jamboree, an annual country music festival held in Craven, Saskatchewan (Canada). The Dixie Chicks will be replacing the originally scheduled Lady Antebellum who have pulled out of several summer commitments since announcing Hillary Scott’s pregnancy. “We knew we had to find something extra special to replace Lady Antebellum when the band canceled their summer dates due to Hilary Scott’s pregnancy. We are extremely excited that we can offer a taste of country music royalty to the Craven Country Jamboree. And it won’t be a regular show – not only will our fans see Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Robison, the three original members, this is a greatest hits package. The Craven date will be one of the only opportunities fans of the band will have to see them live. This is an incredibly special moment for Chicks fans and the Craven Country Jamboree. This is the biggest, deepest lineup of any festival in Canada. Miranda Lambert Added As Additional Headliner to Country Fest 2013 in Cabbot, WI! Miranda Lambert is giving fans attending the 2013 Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin one more thing to be excited about! The CMA Female Vocalist of the year has been added as a headliner to the festival’s line-up! Lambert will be taking the place of Lady Antebellum who has pulled out of several tour dates upon learning the happy news that Hillary Scott and her husband are expecting their first child. Miranda will be filling the spot on Thursday, June 27th of the four day event which runs through Sunday, June 30th! Greg Bates and Aaron Lewis Join Already Packed 2013 Country Thunder Arizona Line-Up! If there’s one thing you can expect from a long running annual country music festival, it’s that the line-up will be really great! For the 2013 Country Thunder Arizona roster, that is definitely the case. We just received the news that country music up comer (and CMNB favorite) Greg Bates and the popular Aaron Lewis have been added to this year’s list of artists! The two are joining an already impressive group including my personal fave, Jerrod Niemann along with Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, Kip Moore and many more! The festival is hitting up Florence, Ariz., April 11-14, 2013. Jake Owen has officially been added to the 2013 line-up of the popular annual festival, Country Thunder Wisconsin! Owen joins an already fantastic roster of artists including Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town and much more! Other newbies to the line-up also include Sarah Darling and Dean Alexander. Taking place in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin July 18-21, this fest is shaping up to be a heck of weekend! First Ever Thunder On The Mountain Announces Complete 2013 Line-Up! When I heard the first ever Thunder On The Mountain country music festival was coming to Ozark, AR (hello, that is basically CMNB’s back yard!) June 6th – 8th, 2013, I was understandably excited. Today, the event organizers announced the complete line-up, and I’m having a hard time coming up with an adjective strong enough and positive enough to describe just how amazing this festival is going to be. Headliners Toby Keith and Luke Bryan are enough of a draw, but then add that some of our absolute favorites like Randy Rogers, Greg Bates, JT Hodges, Aaron Watson, Cody Canada & The Departed and soooooo many more amazing artists.
