Florida Georgia Line Team Up with Rapper Nelly to Remix Hit Song Cruise. Florida Georgia Line rocketed onto the country scene with their now double platinum, multi-week #1 single “Cruise,” and followed that up with the equally popular “Get Your Shine On,” which hit 15 on the charts already and continues to climb. The new country duo is taking things to the next level with “Cruise” by teaming up with rapper Nelly for a remix loosely scheduled to debut sometime this Spring. Both halves of FGL  are very excited about the upcoming collaboration. “When we caught wind that Nelly was a fan of ‘Cruise,’ we were floored. Wynonna Judd Is Back with a Bang

Wynonna Judd Takes On 2013 with New Music, New Shows and More! Wynonna Judd has had her share of trials and tribulations over the years, but this is one woman that just can’t be held down for long. In true form, this country icon is taking on 2013 with lots of new developments including new music, a feature documentary, and a spot on popularity reality TV hit Dancing with the Stars! “I focused on being a wife and a nurse for the last seven months and now I’m doing something for myself. The main word for me this year is ‘risk.’ I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something that a lot of people tell me is crazy—but they get it.” -Wynonna She and husband Cactus Moser experienced tragedy shortly after their wedding when Moser was involved in a motorcycle accident and subsequently had to have his leg amputated. The couple’s story is the subject of the hour long documentary, “Wynonna and Cactus: The Road Back,” which aired on GAC on Monday, March 18th. Also on Monday, Wynonna’s new single, “Something You Can’t Live Without,” which will be featured on her Moser produced upcoming album was sent to country radio and is available on iTunes! As if that’s not enough though, she debuted on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars with a cha cha routine, and did a pretty good job! One thing is for sure, this Judd has enough energy and charisma to really be a stand out on the show! Kacey Musgraves Delivers with Debut Same Trailer Different Park Album! There is a lot of real, solid talent on the country music scene, but even in this sea of amazing folks, there are clear stand outs. Kacey Musgraves with her debut album release Same Trailer Different Park is one of those individuals that was quite simply born to shine. Her first single “Merry Go Round” was a runaway success with a Billboard peak at 14 and current spot of 16 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and like that single this album is honest, smart, original, well written and beautifully composed. As a Texan, I’m probably biased, but Musgraves has that strength, raw energy and authenticity that we consistently hear from the Texas-centric country artists, and I am just blown away by her. All I can say is look out country, because Kacey is here to take you by storm! Top 5 Best Things About Kacey Musgraves Debut Album. 1. Refreshing perspective. Musgraves has her finger on the pulse of the heartbreak that runs through country music, but she approaches it in an altogether modern way. The sentiment may be familiar, but the message is brand new. 2. Beautiful lyrics like this: “If you want to find the honey, you can’t be scared of the bees. If you want to see the forest, you’re gonna have to look past the trees.” -Silver Lining (Track 1) 3. Soft delivery of strong words. Kacey doesn’t (and shouldn’t!) hold back in sharing her POV, but she does it with such a kind voice that it all goes down smooth without losing any poignancy. 4. The use of Harmonica on “My House.” There is a lot of great instrumentation on this album, but for some reason this element in this song in particular delighted me! 5. Kristen Kelly Is A Country Music Diva In Her Video for He Loves To Make Me Cry! When I hear Kristen Kelly‘s single “He Loves To Make Me Cry,” I am simply in awe of just how powerful her voice and talent really are! If ever there was one, Kelly has some real potential to be a “country music diva,” and I mean that in the most positive way possible. I’m talking a talented to the core, strong and confident kind of woman here, and that is just what Kristen offers up in this song and the new video that was recently released! The video keeps things simple with Kelly dressed beautifully in a tasteful but stunning floor length, slim gown on stage with an old school mic and all eyes on her. The audience is kept in profile, and except for a few complimentary scenes of a couple slow dancing, the focus is entirely on Kristin and her show stopping vocals. Great song. Great talent. Love and Theft might be heading out on tour with Tim McGraw‘s 2013 Two Lanes of Freedom Tour in May, but in the meantime, they had a little time to check in with Yahoo and perform their single “Runnin’ Out Of Air” for fans. Little Big Town Get Second Number One with Tornado

Little Big Town Success Continues with Second Number One from Tornado Album! Since they’re fun summer time single “Pontoon” earned Little Big Town their first career number one hit single, this foursome has been on a roll! They swept the 2012 CMA Awards with wins for Single of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year, and have multiple nominations for the upcoming 2013 ACM Awards including Album of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Video of the Year, and Single Record of the Year. So, it should come as no surprise that LBT has earned their second #1 for the Tornado title track! What I love about these two number one hits is that together they demonstrate the range that Little Big Town features on Tornado. It is a complex and diverse album, and both these hits are well deserved. Additionally, the group recently sold-out their very first headlining show at the Ryman Auditorium adding to the 21 already sold out dates on their current 2013 Tornado Tour. Brad Paisley and More to Perform 2013 ACM Awards Fan Jam Concert! The 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards are just a couple weeks away, and the ACM Experience will ensure that country fans have an unforgettable week when “Vegas Goes Country.” The week leading up to the Sunday night awards show will feature a number of special events including the 2013 ACM Awards Fan Jam concert which will be headlined by Brad Paisley. Other performers include Dierks Bentley, Hunter Hayes, Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer, and Florida Georgia Line. GAC’s Storme Warren will serve as emcee. Trace Adkins Donates Big To Red Cross

Red Cross Thanks Trace Adkins For Donating NBC’s All-Star Apprentice. Trace Adkins presented a check for $670,000 to the American Red Cross on last night’s episode of NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” The sum was Adkins’ to donate after his team won the first task on the season premiere on March 3. “We could not ask for a better representative of the Red Cross,” Red Cross President and CEO Gail J. McGovern said. “Trace brings humor, honesty, hard work and grit to everything he does. On behalf of the countless people who will benefit because of your participation in the ‘Apprentice,’ thank you, Trace, from the bottom of my heart for getting the job done once again.” On the first episode, Adkins led his team to victory with the help of multiple generous donors including Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet members Amy Grant and Nikki Taylor, philanthropist T. Boone Pickens, Domino Sugar, as well as members of the Nashville community including the Grand Ole Opry, Creative Artists Agency, Diamond Coach, Blaster Records, Diamond Gusset Jeans, the firm of Flood, Bumstead, McCready & McCarthy (FBMM), Kyote Tractor, Music City Merchandise, Nashville Hospitality Industry, Pruf LED Show, Dog-Universal Music and Vector Management. Adkins is a recent addition to the Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet and his family was the recipient of Red Cross services when his home was claimed by fire in 2011. Adkins was the Red Cross spokesperson for its 2012 Holiday Giving Campaign and supported its Holiday Mail for Heroes program that benefits active military members, veterans and their families. “We will be watching and rooting for Trace as a true ‘Red Crosser,’” McGovern said.”No matter what happens next, we are so very proud of Trace and his association with the Red Cross.”
