Kacey Musgraves Set To Release Debut Album

Kacey Musgraves Is Gettting Ready To Release Her Debut Album, Same Trailer Different Park. Kacey Musgraves will release her debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, on March 19th. The album is co-produced by Musgraves, Shane McAnally and Luke Laird and features her current single and top 15 hit “Merry Go ‘Round.” Musgraves wrote or co-wrote all tracks on the album. “The making of this record was such a fun and meaningful time for me,” said Musgraves. “As a writer, singer and producer I learned so much throughout the whole process. I am proud and excited to present a project alongside Shane McAnally and Luke Laird that came from a very real and inspired place in my brain and heart.” Rolling Stone gave “Merry Go ‘Round” FOUR STARS and named it one of their “50 Best Songs of 2012” while NPR named her as their “Best New Artist of 2012” and included her in the “Best Music in 2013 preview.” Musgraves recently received her first country music award nomination for New Female Vocalist for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Thompson Square Announce New Album Just Feels Good Release Date and Track Listing! This weekend, country duo Thompson Square, took to multiple media outlets to make announcements about their upcoming album release, Just Feels Good! They gave fans a sneak peek of their new album cover via their appearance on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown Saturday morning, and unveiled the track listing in a Sunday morning featured in USA Today. Just Feels Good is the husband/wife duo’s sophmore album, follow up to their well received debut which featured the hugely popular “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.” The lead single from the new album, “If I Didn’t Have You,” is already performing well, and continues Kiefer and Shawna’s trend of producing romantic clearly autobiographical ballads. Keifer suggests too, that most of the songs on this album reflect their journey together as a musical duo. “There are a lot of fun, upbeat songs on this new album. It’s very diverse and kind of all over the map. Kenny Chesney New Album Release April 30

Kenny Chesney Will Release A New Album for 2013 On April 30! Just when I think things can’t get any more exciting, Kenny Chesney goes announces that he will be releasing a brand new album for 2013, the follow-up to his 2012 release, Welcome to the Fishbowl! Earlier this week Kenny added 28 dates to his 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour rounding it out to 101 dates total! That kicks off on March 16th, and the new album will release shortly after on April 30! Comprised of new music from her forthcoming album, the EP is produced by Dann Huff and will be available digitally on January 29. At radio now, “Home To Me” continues to catch some attention. Chris Young Honored By CMA

Chris Young Gets Honored By The Country Music Association. The CMNB team is so very proud of Chris Young. He will be honored on January 29th by the Country Music Association with the coveted Triple Play Award for his #1 hits “Voices,” “Tomorrow,” and “You.” The award recognizes songwriters who have written three number-one songs within a 12-month period. As well as the award, the CMA selected Young as a featured artist to help further the popularity of country music overseas. In February, Young makes his inaugural trip to the U.K. and Ireland as part of the Country Music Association’s Songwriters Series with stops in Dublin, Belfast and London. The series is set to be recorded and broadcast at a later date on BBC Radio 2. “I Can Take It From There,” is Young’s latest single from his third album NEON.

Darius Rucker Releases “Wagon Wheel” As His New Single.” Darius Rucker has released “Wagon Wheel” as his new single. The song is the follow up to “True Believers” and will be on his upcoming album, True Believers. Now this song is not new by any means…It was started by Bob Dylan and then later finished by Old Crow Medicine show. The song has become a huge hit, with practically everyone knowing the lyrics and everyone covering it. Including Rucker. Now I love a cover, but in this case I have to say I’d prefer the original. Number 1, I feel like the song isn’t old enough and way too popular for someone to already be releasing it again. Like I said, I love a cover. If Rucker played it at show, just for fun, I’d probably go crazy singing along. I’d even think wow, he’s really cool for singing that. But I also thought it was cool each time I heard numerous different people play it sitting around the fire having a few drinks… Now this is just my opinion and we want to know what YOU think! The Band Perry Announce Release Date of Highly Anticipated New Album! We’ve been waiting on this news for awhile now, and The Band Perry have finally announced a release date for their highly anticipated sophmore album! The new record will drop on April 2nd, and it features the already gold certified (500, 000 + sold) single “Better Dig Two“! The debut single is honestly quite similar in theme to what we’ve heard from the sibling trio on their debut album. However, musically and vocally it is a much stronger effort, and I think bodes very well for what we can expect from the rest of the record! Curb Records Releases New Album Tim McGraw and Friends on January 22nd. This might be a little awkward, but Tim McGraw‘s ex-label, Curb Records, will go ahead and release a new album from the artist this month even though his already moved on. The record titled Tim McGraw & Friends is a compilation featuring duets with Colt Ford, Kenny Rogers, Jo Dee Messina, Randy Travis, Lionel Richie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and others. The album drops on January 22nd. This release has some country fans a little confused because McGraw is also releasing a brand new album this year on his new label, Big Machine Records. Titled Two Lanes of Freedom this record will release on February 5th, and features a track with both Keith Urban and Taylor Swift. Brad Paisley stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight to perform his current single “Southern Comfort Zone”, and also took a second to make an important announcement. Paisley let the viewing audience know the title of his upcoming album which drops April 9th this year! The new album title is (drum roll please!), Wheelhouse. He told Kimmel that this new album is all about “leaving you comfort zone”! If “Southern Comfort Zone” is any indication we can certainly expect a lot from this new album!
